Overview: This beginner friendly course helps kids understand how Artificial Intelligence (AI) works in real life, from smart assistants like Siri to AI art and chatbots. 1. What is AI? What does AI mean? ● AI means making computers “think” like humans: learning, deciding, and helping. Where do we see AI? ● Google, chatbots, YouTube recommendations, and even video game enemies. How does it work (super simple)? ● AI uses patterns. It looks at a lot of data and tries to make smart guesses. ● It improves the more we use it (to make it better specifically for you). 2. Prompt Engineering (Asking AI the Right Way) What is a “prompt”? ● It’s a question or instruction we give AI (like me telling ChatGPT: “Write a story about a dragon.”) Why does the prompt matter? ● AI gives better answers if you ask better questions. How to practice: ● Give examples of good vs. bad prompts. ● Excercise: “Make an AI tell a joke” or “Create a story with a pirate and a robot.” 3. AI Agents: Building a Smart Helper What’s an AI agent? ● A little digital worker that follows tasks, like answering emails or helps you study. What can they do for us? ● Recommend music, answer questions, organize things, even help build games! Outcome: By the end, students will understand AI basics, know how to talk to AI tools, and create their very own beginner AI projects.
Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 Python, the world's most popular coding language, is great for beginners.
